Gentle Yoga is geared specifically for those new to yoga or those who are interested in a gentle practice. Here we will warm up the body, as well as use slower paced movements to focus on alignment, strength, balance, and flexibility. Each class will end with an extended period of relaxation. It is recommended that you are able to get up and down comfortably from the mat prior to class. No experience or flexibility required

This chair-based Yoga Class will offer the benefits of other yoga classes but uses a chair as a prop for support and balance. A series of options are given for each posture to allow students to find the optimal balance between support and challenge to meet them where they are at the moment. Here we explore alignment, strength, balance, flexibility, breath, and relaxation. All are welcome to this class. No Yoga experience needed. During Adapted chair 1/3 of class is standing using the chair and body for support and balance.
