Meditation Musings - Part 1

Meditation has in many ways truly saved my life, it was the beginning of it all when I look all the way back. What started over 12 years ago with breath work in the midst of a severe mental health crisis and what felt like the 100th thing I had tried to find ease in my mind. It now encompasses daily mindfulness, many Buddhist practices and most importantly, disciplined daily sitting. The journey on my mat has relaxed and softened every fibre of my being over the years and continues to do so. It's completely shifted how I view myself, others and the world around me. Though not in a constant state it has allowed me to witness true peace, a gift I didn't think was possible for me and one I desire to share with others who are contemplating or beginning a meditation practice of their own.....
